Would you like to pin notes on your desktop the same way you stick notes on your fridge? Let me tell you there are some software applications that can do this; even one of them, called Sticky Notes, comes as part of Microsoft Windows. Then, why would someone use Quick Notes Plus?
This software does much more than sticking notes: you can also use it as scheduler, organize notes in folders or attach your notes to documents and websites.
Using this software is very easy. Its headquarters is a small icon in the System Tray which you may right-click to access most of its features or left-click to automatically start a new note. Creating a new note consists of just writing your text. The notes can conveniently be moved or minimized. In addition, each note has a small round button that grants access to its properties, including skins and colors. This is where you set the note’s alarms, perhaps, the best function this program has to offer. These reminders are configured the same way you set an event in a scheduler and can be recurrent as to the day of the week, day of the month, etc.
Another important feature of this program is memoboards. Memoboards are to notes what folders are to files. They allow grouping several notes and can even be protected by password.
Quick Notes Plus offers excellent sharing capabilities. For example, you can synchronize your notes with Palm handheld devices, send notes over the Internet or by email. To facilitate this task, you can create groups or friends, meaning the contacts you would like to share the information with.
